Innogen is part of the Department of Development, Policy and Practice (DPP) at the Open University. DPP is the main centre for teaching and research in International Development and has a strong interdisciplinary research culture focused on policy impact in the areas of biotechnology and development, Asia's role in globalisation, North-South partnerships and social learning, transnational non-governmental networks, and management and institutional change. Researchers in DPP combine diverse expertise from across social science disciplines such as anthropology, economics, politics and sociology and sciences and technology with a wide range of research and practical experience from Africa, Latin America, South Asia and Eastern Europe.
