Terry Cook is a Visiting Research Fellow within the Energy and Environment Research Unit. He began working in the renewable energy field in 1990 as a Research & Development contractor on the UK Wind Farm Progamme for the Energy Technology Support Unit (ETSU) on behalf of the Department of Energy.
Since 2003 he has worked on UK Government and European Commission information outreach programmes in the new EU Member States of Central and Eastern Europe promoting sustainable energy. He is currently working on EC projects in the Balkans and launching a new distance learning course on Energy Regulation in transitional economies with the Open University’s Centre for Professional Learning and Development and IPA Energy + Water.
