Mittra Speaks at University of Rhode Island

James Mittra was invited to the University of Rhode Island, College of Environment and Life Sciences, as part of its Distinguished Visiting International Scholar Programme.

Mittra delivered a public lecture on the Bioeconomy and how it should be valued, as well as a seminar talk to the Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Economics on collaboration between the natural and social sciences, and a talk to undergraduate scientists on preparing students for work in the global bioeconomy. He also met with various Deans, Provosts and Faculty to build links between the University of Edinburgh and Rhode Island.
