Tait and Mittra among top tweeted authors

Innogen’s Joyce Tait and James Mittra make Elsevier’s ‘Top Ten Shared Articles 2012’ list.


Social media is fast becoming one of the best ways to access new and interesting academic material. As such, science and health information publisher, Elsevier, regularly tweets articles published in their biotech journals.


Recently, the publisher announced their honour roll of the top ten most popular articles in 2012. Innogen’s Prof Joyce Tait and Dr James Mittra made the enviable No. 4 spot for their article “Analysing stratified medicine business models and value systems: innovation-regulation interactions”.


As way of thanking their followers and congratulating the author’s on their work, Elsevier is also currently offering free access to these 10 most re-tweeted articles.
