Is Scottish independence bad for your health?

Scotland is the ‘sick man of Europe’. Would independence change this?
Polls show that access to quality healthcare is a key concern in the independence debate. Would we be better off with an independent health service, or should we put up with the limitations of the current devolved system? And what about health research? Scotland’s population is an excellent ‘living lab’. Would research done in an independent Scotland yield the same benefits? Could we do even better?
Join academics from the University of Edinburgh’s Innogen Institute for a provocative discussion.
