On 18 October, Innogen OU will celebrate ten years of intense and exciting research on the social and economic impact of innovation in the life sciences by launching the newly established Institute for Innovation Generation in the Life Sciences at the Open University. This event will bring together leaders in industry, policy, media and academia to honour the indelible footprint that Innogen has made over the last decade and to look toward its continuing influence in the next as the Innogen Institute.
The Innogen Insitute Launch will be chaired by Chris Warkup (CEO of Biosciences KTN) and will include a line-up of speakers, including Adrian Alsop (ESRC Director of Research, Partnerships and International) and Vice Chancellor Martin Bean, all offering their unique thoughts on Innogen's global contributions in science and technology.
Presentations begin at 12:30pm and will be followed by a light buffet lunch.
